Stone Polymer Composite refers to the core material constructed of limestone and plastic stabilisers. The combination of these materials in the construction of flooring planks produces a core that is both thin and incredibly dense, resulting in a material that is exceptionally robust and completely waterproof.
Both are robust and stable. However, owing to its limestone makeup, SPC is more durable and dense overall. Both are effective in commercial interior environments. WPC is softer and quieter underfoot, whereas SPC is more scratch- and dent-resistant.
Both SPC flooring and tiles are priced equally. There are differences in quality and pricing, although the low-end and high-end choices are priced similarly.
Although WPC, LVT, and SPC floors will ultimately fade, this process is not rapid. In actuality, the fade resistance of these floors is just average. This is due to the UV coating process that prevents their colour from fading quickly.
